Serving as primary liaison, between the marketing/product team, the management and the tech teams while being responsible for all project management tasks, developing, managing and communicating detail project plans to ensure that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed specifications. The role also encompass a strong ability to formalize the current status of each project, product KPIs and being able to discuss and evaluate prioritization options along with their planning impact with the product, marketing and management team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure that projects remain on schedule, are delivered with high quality, great ‘customer’ satisfaction and within target costs
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and resources during length of project according to corporate plan
  • Remain aware of any potential problems and works to mitigate risks, facilitating change, order procedures as needed
  • Monitor project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project member and establish effective communication with other departments in order to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and effective manner
  • Involve in definition and formalization of the development and delivery process
  • Interface with management, product owners and internal project resources to convey project issues and gain status
  • Maintain consistent communication with all external and internal project resources
  • Define and compile monthly KPIs reports and distribute to the associated stakeholders
  • Interface with management on project issues including timelines and resource allocations
  • Contribute to the success of the overall team outside of existing project responsibilities

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to manage the economics of a project engagement from inception to completion
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycles and process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent time management, organizational and negotiating skills
  • Expert with Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Powerpoint and Visio
  • Advanced Management Training and Technical Certifications are a plus
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in all the following areas: HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Apache, or equivalent web server - and more generally consumer web applications
  • Must have a strong technical background and ability to comprehend complex modern architecture of horizontally scalable web services
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and technology

Education and Experience Required

  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or related area
  • 10 years of experience interfacing with small to large carrier-size external customers in a project management role ideally in the telecommunication / software business
